This website is operated by Blue Goose Arts, selling original artwork, prints, greeting cards, pyrography pieces, and other handmade or printed art products. By creating an account or placing an order as a guest, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Account Registration

- You must keep your details up to date & accurate.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- Accounts may be suspended or closed if misuse, fraud, or policy violations are detected.
2.1 Account Closure
We reserve the right to suspend or close any customer account at my discretion. This may include situations such as suspected fraud, misuse of the website, abusive behaviour, or any activity that may affect the security or operation of the store. If your account is closed while you have an active order, your order will still be processed or refunded as appropriate.
3. Products
- All items are handmade or printed artwork, and slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur.
- Product descriptions and images aim to be accurate, but minor differences may occur due to screen settings or the handmade nature of items.
- Custom or personalised items will be made according to the details you provide.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment must be completed at checkout before an order is processed.
- We reserve the right to update prices at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.
5. Shipping & Delivery
- Orders are dispatched to the shipping address provided at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to postal delays or seasonal demand.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
- If a parcel is returned due to incorrect address details, additional postage costs may apply.
6. Returns & Refunds
Your rights under UK consumer law:
6.1 Standard Products
- You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.
- Items must be returned unused and in their original condition.
- Refunds are issued once the returned item is received.
- Return postage is the customer’s responsibility.
6.2 Custom or Personalised Items
Custom-made or personalised artwork cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged on arrival.

7. Intellectual Property
- All artwork, designs, images, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Lucy Friar trading under the name Blue Goose Arts.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without written permission.
8. Order Cancellation
- We may cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable or if there is an error in pricing or stock information.
- If this happens, you will be notified and refunded in full.

10. Snail Mail Subscription Service
The Snail Mail subscription is a monthly recurring service where subscribers receive a curated collection of artwork once per month. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms in addition to the general Terms & Conditions.
10.1 Billing and Payments
- Subscription payments are charged monthly in advance on the 1st of each month, or the next working day if the 1st falls on a weekend or bank holiday.
- Your subscription will renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Prices are shown in GBP (£).
- We may update subscription pricing from time to time. If prices change, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
10.2 Fulfilment and Delivery
- Your monthly Snail Mail package will be dispatched on the next working day after payment is received.
- Delivery times may vary depending on postal services.
- You are responsible for ensuring your delivery address is accurate and up to date.
10.3 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting us.
- When you cancel, one final payment will be taken on the next billing date, and you will receive one final monthly delivery. After this final delivery, your subscription will end.
- Cancellations made after a payment has been taken will apply to the next billing cycle.
10.4 Failed Payments
- If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again.
- If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be paused or cancelled.
- No monthly package will be shipped until payment is successfully received.
10.5 Refunds
- Subscription payments are generally non‑refundable, as each monthly package is prepared specifically for subscribers.
- If your package arrives damaged or does not arrive, please contact us so we can resolve the issue.
10.6 Changes to the Subscription Service
- We may update or adjust the contents of the monthly Snail Mail package from time to time.
- Any significant changes to the service will be communicated in advance.
- Continued use of the subscription after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
- We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, courier issues, or events outside my control.
- Liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order placed.

- These Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally.
- Continued use of your account indicates acceptance of any updated terms.
